What this website is, and what it is not.
This site is information, not a contract
Everything on this website — scope descriptions, material specifications, process steps, articles and FAQs — is general information about how we work. It is not a quote, an offer, or a contract. Nothing here binds us to a price, a schedule, or a particular method on your house. A remodel is agreed in a written scope signed by both sides, and that document governs, not this website.
Technical advice is general
The articles on this site describe common building practice and the conditions we work in around Houston. They are not engineering advice and they are not a substitute for having your own property looked at. Structural questions — whether a wall carries load, how a header should be sized, what a moving slab means for your finishes — need somebody on site, and in some cases a licensed structural engineer. Do not demolish anything on the strength of an article.
Permits and approvals
We describe how permitting generally works in the Houston area, and which office usually has jurisdiction. Requirements change and vary by address. Always confirm with the authority having jurisdiction over your own property, and check your deed restrictions and any HOA architectural rules before you commit to exterior work.
Photographs
Every photograph on this site is of work carried out by Top Rank Construction. There is no stock photography anywhere on this website. The images are our property and may not be copied, reposted or used to represent anyone else’s work.
Accuracy
We keep this site accurate and correct errors when we find them, but we do not warrant that everything on it is complete or current at any given moment. Prices, product availability, lead times and code requirements all move.
Links out
This site links to our social media accounts. We do not control those platforms and are not responsible for their content, their advertising or their handling of your data.
Limitation
To the extent permitted by law, Top Rank Construction is not liable for loss arising from reliance on information published on this website. Work we are actually engaged to perform is covered by the written agreement for that work.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
